Privacy Policy

How ScreenPlay collects, uses, and protects your family's information.

Effective date: July 30, 2026
Last updated: July 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how BeanieStalk LLC ("ScreenPlay," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the ScreenPlay mobile application and website (together, the "Service").

ScreenPlay is a family rewards app. Parents and legal guardians ("Parents") create and control all accounts. Children use the Service only through profiles that their Parent creates and manages. We designed ScreenPlay to collect as little information about children as possible, and this policy explains exactly what we collect and why.

Summary for busy parents: We collect your account information and the tasks, points, and rewards you set up for your family. Children never create their own accounts, we never show ads, we never sell data, and we do not run analytics or tracking on child profile activity beyond what is needed to make the app work. You can review or delete your family's data at any time.

1. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

We take the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws seriously. This section explains our practices regarding children under 13 (and, where state law extends protections, minors under 18).

Parental consent by design. Only a Parent can create a ScreenPlay account, and only a Parent can create a child profile. Because all information about a child is provided by the Parent within an account the Parent controls, the Parent's creation of a child profile constitutes their consent to the collection described below. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

What we collect about a child — provided by the Parent:

What we do NOT collect from or about children:

Child sessions and analytics. Product analytics (described in Section 4) are collected from Parent activity only. Child-facing screens operate without any third-party analytics tracking — confirmed via a full codebase search finding no analytics SDK of any kind integrated in the app.

Parental rights over a child's information. At any time, a Parent may:

To exercise these rights outside the app, contact us at info@screenplayrewards.com. We will verify that you are the account-holding Parent before acting on a request.

We do not condition a child's participation in any activity on the disclosure of more information than is reasonably necessary.

2. Information We Collect from Parents

Account information: email address and a password (stored in hashed form; we cannot see your password).

Family configuration: family name (optional), child profiles as described above, tasks, behavior rules, point values, rewards, and screen time settings you create.

Subscription information: if you purchase a subscription, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google. We receive subscription status (e.g., trial, active, expired) and a transaction identifier from our subscription management provider. We never receive or store your credit card number or full payment details.

Device and usage information: device type, operating system version, app version, language, crash logs, and how Parent users interact with app features (e.g., which screens are used). We use this to fix bugs and improve the Service.

Communications: if you contact support, we keep the correspondence.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

We do not:

4. Service Providers

We use a small number of service providers to operate ScreenPlay. Each processes data only on our instructions and only to provide their service to us:

This table reflects our current vendor list as of the effective date above. If our vendor list changes, or if any vendor stores data outside the U.S., this section will be updated accordingly.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case this policy's protections for children's data will continue to apply or Parents will be notified and offered deletion.

5. Data Retention

6. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, hashed passwords, and access controls limiting who can access production data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we design for data minimization — the less we collect, the less that can be exposed.

If we learn of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

7. Your Choices and Rights

All users can:

U.S. state privacy rights. Depending on your state (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and others), you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and port your personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of — but access, correction, deletion, and portability requests can be made at info@screenplayrewards.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.

Users outside the United States. The Service is currently offered only in the United States, and your data is processed in the United States. If we begin offering the Service outside the United States, we will update this policy to describe additional rights and safeguards that apply (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR) before doing so.

8. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated family data at any time:

  1. In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account, or
  2. By emailing info@screenplayrewards.com from your account email address.

Deletion is permanent and includes all child profiles, points history, and settings. Subscriptions must be canceled separately through your Apple or Google account settings (we cannot cancel app store subscriptions on your behalf).

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes — especially any change to how we handle children's information — we will notify Parents by email and/or a prominent in-app notice before the change takes effect, and where required by law we will obtain renewed consent. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
